Stopped by Sonny’s for some ribs and ended up being happy with the drink options too. I grabbed a cold beer with my meal, because what goes better with BBQ than that? My wife had the sweet tea and liked it, and the refills came around quick.

The bar area was relaxed, not too loud or trying to be fancy, just an easy spot to hang for a bit. Prices seemed fair enough, what more do you need? I’d go back

There’s a fair amount of BBQ on the menu, so finding something to eat isn’t really a problem. I just found myself wishing there were a few more sides, or maybe some non-meat options, too. Overall, it was okay, but after a bit, the choices started to feel kind of samey

Sonny’s is really easy for me to get to after work, and I can usually find parking close, so that’s a big part of why I end up stopping in. It has that kind of casual, no-fuss feel, and from the way the staff talks, I get the impression they’re used to a lot of regulars just popping in and out.

The food and service are fine, just not anything I’d make a special trip for. Nothing has been bad, but it also doesn’t really stand out to me. If it weren’t so convenient, I probably wouldn’t go as often, so 3 stars feels about right.

I ordered from Sonny’s and the BBQ was definitely good, but what I remember most is actually how happy I felt opening everything up and seeing all the side options. It kind of took me back to those easy family dinners where everyone grabs what they like and the table feels full.

They had the usual fries and slaw, but also beans, mac, corn nuggets, green beans, and a few others. That made it way easier for our group because nobody was stuck settling for something they didn’t really want.

I was mostly checking BBQ options, though somehow I also started thinking about how long it’s been since I’ve had corn nuggets, which is not really the point but still important.

The ordering info was easy to find too, which I appreciated. Sides, deals, hours, all that was right there without making me click through a million pages. I like when a website just does what it’s supposed to do, especially when I’m already hungry and probably shouldn’t be making big decisions anyway. Simple site, worked well for me.

I bought a Sonny’s BBQ gift card online for my dad, and overall it was painless. The only thing was the email took longer than I expected, so I did have a little “uh oh, did this actually go through?” moment, because of course that’s what happens when it’s a gift. It ended up showing up later that day, and my dad used it at the restaurant with no issues at all. So yeah, totally fine in the end, just would’ve been nicer if the delivery was a bit quicker.

Took my two kids here and, for once, they both picked something without turning it into a whole damn negotiation. The portions were solid, not gigantic, and the sides were simple stuff my picky little gremlins actually eat. it made family dinner way less of a headache.

I tried the seasonal ribs deal the food was really good. It showed up hot and the flavor was solid. I just felt a little misled by the way the limited-time deal was advertised, since it didn’t seem quite as special or straightforward once I ordered. Still, I’d probably order the ribs again

I was glad they actually had dessert in stock this time because it made my dinner so much better. I’ve been close to going somewhere else when the options aren’t available, so I really hope they keep this up.

I use Sonny’s rewards here and there, mostly when I remember to check it before ordering. It’s not bad, the points usually show up like they’re supposed to, though I did have one visit that didn’t count and I had to ask about it, which was a little annoying. The offers are decent, too. Nothing amazing, but enough that I still keep using it. i think my main issue is the app itself. It just feels like it could be smoother or easier to figure out. So overall, it’s okay, just not something I’d rave about.

I ordered from Sonny’s BBQ mainly because I wanted to try a few of their different sauces, the sauces were really good. The sweet one ended up being my favorite, and the spicy had a nice kick without being over the top.

I’ve ordered takeout from here twice and also used them for an office lunch catering order. Overall, the food has been really good and everyone seemed to enjoy it. The only downside was that pickup ran a little late, which was mildly frustrating when we were trying to stay on schedule. That said, everything tasted fresh and the catering worked out well, so I’d still order from them again.

We stopped by Sonny’s BBQ and had no trouble finding a spot at all. There were plenty of open spaces close to the entrance, so we didn’t have to drive around or wait. I’m sure other customers appreciate that too, especially when everyone’s hungry and just wants to get inside and eat.

Paying by card was quick and simple. I usually just take the mental shortcut of assuming checkout is fine if it doesn’t make me stop and think, and this one went through fast with no hassle.

The food was fine overall, nothing really memorable but not bad either. The staff just didn’t seem to care much about us, which feels like what happens at places like this all the time. We had to wait around and it felt like no one was really paying attention.
